Designing the social by placemaking and identity for the 21st Century. Our premiere issue featuring Copenhagen x Vancouver.
Globally, societies have experienced rapid technological growth and development; these changes continue and are increasing at an exponential rate. A new interconnectedness is a (by)product of this technological growth, with organizations, businesses, and individuals functioning in closer digital proximity than ever before. This kind of inter-connectedness has benefits of assembling communities of practice to share knowledge and work together but also produce negative social and economic effects such as lack of participation and exclusion. This issue features how we can encourage meaningful participation in communities and organizations. This project was done with Human Hotel, a coliving company humanizing homesharing in cities.
The report will be available for digital and physical distribution soon.
